You can just show up for classes without the hassle of pre-registering online—or scroll down below and buy a membership. We are located on the Liberty Street side of the Tannery marketplace, where there is free parking available and an easy stroll to downtown Newburyport.

Why is my new yoga mat so slippery? 2017-04-20T22:29:02+00:00

After you have used your mat a few times, it should feel less slippery. Try keeping it unrolled at home and walk on it with your bare feet. You can also handwash it with no soap and let it drip dry. Also, make sure you do not practice with lotion on your hands!

We keep the rooms at around 72 degrees: warm enough that you won’t feel a chill but not so hot that you’re sweating before class starts. There is no air conditioning but we do have ceiling fans.

Can I let my friend take a class using my class card? 2017-04-20T22:29:56+00:00

No. Your class package is restricted to your account with us and can’t be shared.

I’m not very flexible. Will I do okay in a yoga class? 2017-04-20T22:30:16+00:00

The environment at Repose is non-competitive and very supportive. Getting more flexible is a good reason to start practicing yoga! You will be surprised by how quickly you gain flexibility when you practice regularly.

How often should I come? 2017-04-20T22:27:42+00:00

Your body will receive the benefits of yoga if you come once a week, but two times a week or more is ideal. The more often you practice, the quicker you will notice progress in your practice.
