She has taught yoga in the Newburyport area since 1999, and in 2009 opened Repose Yoga to provide a safe, nurturing environment for others wishing to explore yoga\u2019s empowering benefits. Her dynamic flows offer stability to new yogis, while providing seasoned practitioners the appropriate tools to up-level. Kerrie has been teaching at Repose for over a decade, with her yoga practice ever-evolving and continually inspiring her both as a student and a teacher. As years went by she realized that there was so much more to yoga than the asanas (postures). Yoga became a spiritual path connecting body, breath, mind, and spirit. This realization was a life changer. Susan\u2019s devotion and enthusiasm for yoga inspired her in 2016 to become a licensed Ashaya Yoga\u00ae teacher. Ashaya refers to the heart as the sanctuary of the self. Susan teaches alignment from that place in a kind and compassionate manner, empowering her students to find themselves from the inside out. He found old anxieties dissipating, daily stress diminishing, and sleep was more restorative and rejuvenating. Through the years Eric has studied various styles and approaches to yoga. He believes that all approaches can inspire transformation and bring about healing. In 2015 she completed her 200-hour teacher training, and since then has acquired new skills in yin, restorative, and nidra certifications to continue bringing a fresh new perspective to her teaching. Her sequencing is informed by the individuality of those who attend her classes, as\u00a0students are her best teachers. She hopes that her students find the same sense of curiosity and confidence as they move through life and on the mat. Cathy has been teaching at Repose since 2021. When not teaching, Cathy finds joy and nourishment spending time with her family, long walks in nature, and gardening.
